There should be a "sticker" in your glove box listing the options that are on the car. At the very bottom of that sticker will be the paint and trim codes.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

GM hid their paint codes in a few places in the 80's, try looking in the the center console for a sticker with a ton of #'s on it , if not there look in the left rear 1/4 trim panel with the locking flap for the sticker.
On the very bottom of sticker look for a WA# , thats the paint code!
When found I would almost bet (if its the solid red ) that it will Be this color- PPG color code #3794 (<that is not the WA# by the way)
I spray that color almost every day .....LOL
One of GM's most popular reds on all model cars.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
