intake manifold
I see in the new Speedway magazine that Demon sells a kit that allows you to put on 3 Demon 98 3 bolt carbs on your standard 4 barrel intake with a special adapter. Wouldn't this be restrictive on a dual plane intake?Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

I would think that a setup like that would mess up the signals to the end carbs.Ken Thomas

Denny, they don"t show the picture of the bottom. It's probably the same as your dual plane intake with the adapter fitting over the opening.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

pretty sure the flow on that thing would be bad enough to leave a small animal gasping for air!!!!!! I guess if you're looking for a cheap way to run 3 deuces it would be functional, but that's about it.... To me it shows the potential for a few different areas where the fuel will puddle and the air will be turbulent...then eventually take a hard right and proceed down the intake runners..... IMO be a lot better off saving a few more bucks and get an intake that is designed for multiple carbs....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Nope, it sure doesn't make it for me...especially for that kind of price!!!! I'd say get a real tri-power intake and put 3 well built Rochesters on it!!!! Way less money and works way better I'm sure..... Just isn't any way the intake charge is going to stay as a mist like it should... The fuel is going to puddle up in all those corners, and the air is going to be nothing but turbulant...
A good intake with a big Rochester in the middle and the small one on the ends will look better and work better!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Heck yes, they still sell the intake manifolds brand new, and the Rochester 2 bbl carbs are a dime a dozen in rebuildable condition!!!!!! Any questions on setting up the Rochesters, might want to check with Mike P..--- He's sharp on getting the mult-carb stuff done!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I'm going to have to go with Dave and Richard on this..... both from the looks department and and the way it will likely run.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Heck, a brand new Edelbrock 3-2 intake is under $300.00.... With some searching the carbs and kits can be had cheap....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
