Hi Jim, first thing I would do is research all the header manufacturers and find the best fit in the type of header you want to use....

Even if they don't list the header as fitting your truck, if you call 'em up and tell 'em you can move the motor around some, you'll probably come up with a fit.
You can move the motor to the passenger's side or up or down, wherever you need to for clearance as long as you keep the crankshaft centerline perpendicular to the rear axle. Some OEM Mopars had the motor moved to the passenger side by 3" for valve cover/brake booster clearance. Of course the other limiting factor will be the transmission/driveshaft tunnel unless you want to do some surgery there.Last edited by techinspector1; 12-22-2008 at 05:57 PM.
