Old Mallory Dual point distributor
Does anyone out there know where I can get Wires, Cap, Rotor, points...etc. for a 50's Mallory dual point distributor for a six cylinder plymouth 217 flathead motor. I have the distributor, but I need the tune-up parts.
If not does anyone know if Petronix makes a electronic conversion for this distributor.
I am having a hard time finding much info on this distributor.
Thanks for any tips,
Tim

Good Point, the Distributor is a
Mallory Magspark, Model: YCM, Type: 201 D HD3 or HDS (hard to read if the last stamping is and "S" or a "3")
The Matching coil is a Mallory Magspark MS 12 VN

I think what I would do is email tech support at Mallory. They should be able to give you all the part numbers and where to purchase them.....

I'd take the points and condenser to your local NAPA and lay them on the counter and as for some help in finding replacements. If that doesn't work, try this link - they specialize in restoration of Mallory Distributors:

I tryed Mallory's tech support first before I posted this thread, they don't have the parts I was looking for, but the other two sites you all provided did provide some help, all the parts I was looking for are now on order.
Thanks all for your help.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
