Electric Tilt Mechanisms
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good electric mechanism for the one piece hood on my '56 F100.
Happy New Year to all.

Try autolock. They have 12 volt linear actuators in different lengths and strengths, with built in electric cut-off switches. Not cheap but excellent quality. I have one on the side tilt bed cover on my roadster pickup.---BrianOld guy hot rodder

Or you could go to or call your local auto salvage, cars are filled with different types of actuators in them. And save $$$$$.

Heck, Speedway Motors has them. Not hard to find. I would imagine most of the Hot Rod supply and parts places have them.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
