I know when i got my 60 falcon every part had fomoco still stamped on it, im not sure if they only did that to factory parts, but i personally have never seen that on aftermarket parts. Even the brake shoes had it on them.

I had a person inquire about my bumper and they asked if it was original. I guess if a person is restoring a car and they want all original parts it matters to them.Go Hokies!!!!!! ACC CHAMPS '04,'07,'08

I was told today that if you look inside the ends of the bumper and in the middle of the ring there will be a washer inside the bumper if it's a repop.
Mine has that ring, so I guess it's not an original.Last edited by youther; 01-05-2009 at 09:20 PM.

An original '32 ford Bumer will have bolts which are completely rusted together..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

If you drop it and it breaks, it's not made in the USA. If it doesn't break, you know it's OKKeep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
