    chamber size

     



    I own a 1989 c-1500 w/ a tbi350....who knows how many cc's are in the combustion chamber for my cyl. heads?

    Well, I ain't a chevy guy but I can tell you that if you pull the numbers off the heads you won't have much trouble finding a website with all that info for your particular heads.

    Pull either valve cover and find the casting number. It's probably an eight digit number beginning with 10, 12 or 14.

    Then go to mortec.com and find the casting number for a description.

    Stock your 1989 5.7 TBI Had #14102193 Heads . They are called Swirl Port Heads . They are 76cc Chambers with 1.94"in/1.50"ex Valves . Not a Performance Head but good for Low end Torque and MPG .
