    there a seal adapter that bolts to the back of the block this will stay on so you will be ok wip the oil pan rail down with thinnner . on the one piece pan gasket try not to load it up with rtv i only use it on the front cover lip and back seal adaper watch what you use on the pan gasket if you reuse it some solvents can swell the pan gasket .i put just a dab of rtv on the studs to but that a bout all .if you feel you must use rtv on the hole gasket then put a very thin coat on and draw the pan up let it setup come back when dry and give your bolts a 1/4 of a turn the next day
