    Question 35 Chevy front axle

Does anyone know what years a front axle assembly for a 1935 chevy standard would fit in?

I was going to sell it at a local swap meet and had many people tell me many different ideas on what they thought it would fit in. Some said it would fit all chevy's up to the early 50's and some said it would only fit in the 34, 35 standard. I would like to know so i don't sell someone something they couldn't use.

Your best shot in selling it is to find a restorer or a rat rodder. Size up the guy whos checking it out and alter your sales pitch to fit him.

    35 chevy

I had a 35 Chevy Master two dr. that I removed the old knee action from. I installed a straight axel from a 37 chevy pickup in it and it worked great. Used 54 chevy backing plates.
    hope this helps
