    dizzy question

A friend of mine wants to make a jaloppy on an old v6 ranger pickup. He has seen what I am doing with an old s10 (4 barrel carb hei ign headers) and would like to know if anyone makes distributors that are not computor controled for these old rangers... Francis

I am assuming you are talking about the 2.8 V-6 engine. If so, the distributor for a 70's Mustang II or Pinto V-6 was non computer controlled and will work on the Ranger engine.

Summit has a few for the Ford V6's.

The Ranger Station might be able to help you also.

The Ranger Station also has a tech tip on how to run Ford's HEI type dizzy....joe
