37 and 39 fender question
I've seen the tear drop type headlights typically found on 37 and 38 fords on some 39's and was wondering what I'd have to do to change mine over. do the front fenders, hood and side panels bolt on to the 39 body or are these some fiberglass mods for the 39? Since I'm new to this, does anyone know of some good web sites that pertain to the 39 era ford sedans?
Thanks!

I was hoping someone could answer this question or maybe point me to where I might be able to get some information. I checked out the web sites above and they are very cool and helpful but I still haven't been able to get this answered. Does anyone know how interchangeable the front fenders are between the 37 to 40 ford sedans. If I wanted to install a set of 37 front fenders on my 39 sedan, I know I would have to include the hood, grill, side panels and I believe the running boards. My dilema is that I need to make sure they will bolt onto the 39 body and frame without major mods. I've seen a set of 37 ford roadster fenders for sale and asked if they would fit a 39 sedan but he didn't know. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
