First race of the year
It's been a long time coming, After our driver being injured last year in a non racing incident, we had to sit the entire year out last year. Well, Saturday was the first race of the SRL Southwest Series season and we won....Lead all 125 laps...Oh what a feeling...Our race team page

It's defiantly the way to get the year started. Last year was a long hard one for our driver, I'm just happy he climbed out of the car and had no pain....The wait was worth it...Our race team page

Really nice race page you guys have put together, Chuck! Did you put this together by yourselves or hire it done?
You're fortunate to get your driver back. Way back in the sprint car days, we had a really first rate driver and were winning a bit more then our share of races. Don suffered a serious back injury and had to retire from driving. We tried a few other drivers and just could never hit the "right" combination again, think we were spoiled!!! Team disbanded about a year later....
PS--is the dirt track at Castaic still open????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave, we had it done...no time or expertise for that sort of thing. Sadly there are no tracks near us any more, except Irwindale (about 60 miles away) The combination of driver and crew chief is, in my opinion, the key to running up front....Even that doesn't help sometimesOur race team page

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
