    Model A window glass replacement

Hi, new to this board but I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time here as my project continues. Just purchased a 1930 Model A five window and am in the process of fixing a bunch of stuff. The passenger side window glass is badly cracked and I need to replace it. Do I just pry it out of the mechanism while it's still in the door or would it be easier to grind off the rivits to take the brace off the door and remove the whole window mechanism. Or will the mechanism come out w/o removing the brace. Thanks for any responses.
