Bobby - After about 2 days, I probably would have had a weenie roast over that car - no matter how well it ran. I guess my patience has about run its' course - and it used to be good. I got PO'd a few days ago after ripping my hand open - again - while trying to set the timing on my '31 then trying to change valve covers and yanked the a/c totally out. PhewDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Well Dave I too have a hole in a finger I didn't have when I got home. I know the feeling about the weenie roast And I will have one if it happens again .

Do they sell a manual set for the escort? I have a '87 Mustang and Ford has a 3 manual set plus a wire & vacuum manual (not the Electircal manual) I bought all 4 for my Mustang. The electrcal manual shows the wiring harness, the wire & vacuum manual shows you & tells you where every connector & wire is with a pic of what it looks like, and how to trouble shoot them.
It sure has helped me many times. I got mine from ebay, some one is always selling them. I bought each one at a time.

Anyone can cut one up, but! only some can put it back together looking cool!

It will be a little everyday till done no hurry so no frustration . The only major will have to pull out front seats to access chimes and auto seat belt to pass side . Most of rear is very accessible with the 3 trim panels in back . |Most the difficult will be the minimum splicing I have to do in dash . But when patience runs low I can always come in and read .
Looks Factory!!
