    Crankshaft removal update.

Well, I pulled everything off the front of the engine today and thought I'd share my findings. First, thanks again for the suggestions. Some clarification here first. I stated the crank had three keyways, wrong, I was looking at the timing chain gear through the cover. So, the crank has just the double set-up for timing chain and harmonic inline. When I got the cover off it looks like the Harmonic had just worked its' way loose and sheared the key off. The Harmonic bolt had NO thread locker on it that I could see so I'll make sure I clean and apply it to bolt upon re-assembly. Everything looks tight and good. I'm going to order a new Harmonic and keys today and start the re-assembley after I clean up the engine and compartment some. It appears the Engine "GODS" have smiled favorably upon me. For now I'm kickin back with an ice cold Martini with a slice of lemon..............Shaken NOT Stirred .......Thanks again !
