suspected air in brakes
Hi
Wondering if anyone could shed some light on suspected air in brakes on my hot rod.Built a 32 Ford roadster which has 4 wheel disk brakes with a GM Brake booster which is fitted underneath the drivers seat.the brakes work ok but I feel there is too much travel in the pedal and I suspect air in the system.I have bleed the lines several times but it dos'nt seem to improve the problem.Does anyone have any clues or is it difficult to remove air from master cylinders positioned under the floor.
Thanks
P.S Booster, master cylinder and brake cylinders have all been proffesionally overhauled

The easiest way to bleed them is with a power bleeder. Your master is probably below some of your lines, calipers, fittings. Not hard to do but sometimes a pain.Charlie

Thanks Charlie.
I think the power bleeder is what removes air that may be locked near the booster ( Just guessing ), but could what is a power bleeder is exactly and how can I get hold of one.I had a couple of blokes come round to the house ( Mobile brake mechanics ) but they expected to see the booster under the dash and I don't think they were familiar with hot rod setups.
Thanks Nick
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
