Serpentine alternator
I got a complete serpentine belt setup that I want to install on my 68 Burb. The serpentine setup has a tiny alternator with a 4 wire plug. The burb also has a voltage regulator that I wish to delete. Does anybody have wiring schematics showing what I've got now and what I'm trying to do?

Here's a writeup that shows (in detail) about all the GM alternators. Its a big read, but the info IS IN THERE. In dealing with the 4 wire plug be CAREFUL in how you hook it up. Its all explained in here.........

I've read the entire article several times and cannot figure out how to adapt my current setup to a cs series alternator. This article seems to raise more questions than it answers!
I'm building a 68 Burb, which has an external voltage regulator. Does anybody have a link to a schematic for using a specific cs alternator that fits an 87 camaro v-8 sertpentine drive? Thanks!
When I was about six years old, a race car on a trailer went past our house. I thought it was the coolest thing I had EVER seen! And I haven’t been the same since. That was over fifty years ago. ...
How did you get hooked on cars?
