I have a Sears 2 ton - which I don't trust as it occasionally decides to lower itself. It goes up fine, but.... I also have a cheapie Taiwanese 2 tonner that I bought about 1987 to replace a dead pretty good one. It still works fine after lots of abuse. It even will lift the front end of my 4x4 V10 F350 - but it's starting to drip oil now (wonder why!!)
Whatever you buy, cheap or expensive, give it a good work out and make sure it will stay where you want it at least 'til you can get the jack stands under the carDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
