    custom air cleaner (6 cylinder)

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get a custom air cleaner for a 235 six cylinder engine with a roch. 1 bbl. with a 2 1/4" neck. I have looked and can only find the small chrome ones, I would like to find a 6 or 7 inch diameter air cleaner with this size of neck.

Buy one that you like, and make an adapter to fit your carb.

if you wanted somthing out of the box that would work without making anything fit.. Chevy and GMC used all kinds of air cleaners on the trucks.. some of them used from '1938-'1941 look pretty custom. I'v seen them done painted and in chrome.. would fit right on your carb.. there not oil baths ither, they use the steel mesh just as the stock '50 cleaner does

some are oil bath, and some aren't.. they pop up on ebay all the time, tho there isn't any of the non oil bath 1's on right now.. any of them can be mod'd for modern paper filters tho...
