Outstanding combination, Sickee32; absolute nostalgia. A Hurst three speed shifter is a good thing, too; plenty robust and durable. And, what a blast from the past; I had all the stuff to make that floor shift conversion in the trunk of my car ('51 2 door) when I went into the Navy in '59. My Dad sold the car sometime during the ensuing four years, and whatever was in it went with it.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.
I did not know Mike very well, we exchanged some messages from time to time but from what I understand he was a very good man. I was sad to learn about this
