95 camaro and 68 chevelle transplant
looking for opinions i have a 11.oo second chevelle best et dont bother me i miss driving the car i was looking to 5 sppeed conversion from clasic chevy 5,000$ i ended up picking up a 95 z28 with a lt1 and a 6 speed for 4500 im considering swaping out the trans into the chevelle or swaping motors will a bbc go in a f body or will a t56 go into a chevelle any advice or opions 11 are fun but a 180 top out would be im stuck lt1 to slow and chevelle is rough driver

It might just be me but i'd keep the Chevelle the way it is. Chevelle can be your race car that you can take out occassionally and let loose and you can drive the camaro whenever you feel like without worrying that something would go wrong. I'm sure your Chevelle has the same problem my dads Camaro did you cant drive it regularly because you'll work the engine to hard staying at a constant speed. My dad had a guy build him an over drive trans with a 4 gear??? not sure about that part so he could simply push a button...problem was that they wouldnt last long.

Big block in LT-1 Camaro would be a pain to work on if it would fit. Nitrous the Camaro to make it fast when needed, and just do burn outs the rest of the time as they don't hook worth a sh#t, at least mine didn't.
