Got the camaro fired up!
Saturday was an exciting day for me. I got fuel to the motor and stabbed the distributer. I hit the starter and she banged right off! That was so satisfying for me. At that moment all of the lossed time and money was worth it.
As I was trying to set my timing, I noticed that the fuel line that feeds into the carb was leaking...from both fittings! I removed it and put it back on and still, no help. I don't know what is wrong with this thing. I bought it new with the carb last month. It is one of those chrome looking ones from jegs. Any thoughts on why this line is leaking? The carb is a double pumper. Thanks.

Good morning Dave. I should of known better than to buy that one. It's one of those jegs brand fuel lines. Would you have any styles to recommend?

Well, I usually use the AN lines and fittings with the appropriate sized adapters on the carb....spendy, but no problems with leaks when done correctly....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

The chrome plating is hard and the steel fitting is hard and they don't fit together very good(don't seat) as an aluminun AN fitting would
