The problem with a pusher is you are blocking the area that is behind the motor on the fan. Without a shroud, you are also missing out on some square inches for cooling.

and wow! They make a 3630 CFM 16" fan for around 220.00. My american autowire kit has a built in 40amp fan relay, and this unit only draws 10amps! The nice thing is It will cool a larger area of the radiator than the twin Spal setups. They also seem to have a good rep, Summit sells them and says they're good units, with limited lifetime warranty. I guess now it's just save up after vacation and I'll be good to go. Thanks again for all the valuable input.
What airflow they say dos,nt mean the airflow you'll get I'm afraid.Speaking electrically usually the higher amperage the high the airflow which relates to the more work the motor is doing

I just p/u a Taurus/Mk8 Fan w/ shroud. I called Painless for a relay kit to wire it up and was told there wasn't one. That it would take (2) 70 A relays. One to get it up to low speed, and a second 70A to get it up to High Speed and then go back and shut down the low speed side or burn it up. What's the accepted procedure for wiring up this coling fan.........Thanks in advance
