Damn thats terrible. Sorry your going through this. The stuff people pull is unbelieveable.
Ive been attending some big cruise nights lately, sometimes I get pretty far away from
my car so I can see how this could happen. Think I'll at least be locking my doors & keeping a little better eye on my ride.

Sad, but a good lesson for all owners.

I guess it goes to show that if one was at a show and shine, you should introduce yourself to the owners of the other cars parked next to yours. If you need to make a pit stop, or want to wander around, to ask them to keep an eye on the car for you. Locking it up may also prevent things like shift knobs from disappearing as well..I know car club members, will often park togeather at these events, which can offer additional protection..

While I was at the Good Guys West Coast Nationals in August, a guy had his Harley stolen just outside the gate. Must of been 10 to 15 bikes parked there. Our group of car guys were hanging out inside the grounds and didn't notice anything unusual by the bikes. Supposedly, the Harley even had an alarm, no one heard anything out of the norm. Just the unlucky guys turn. Thieves will steal anything if they want it bad enough, no matter how many people are around or in broad day light. I've had stuff stolen before, but not my pride and joy. That's gotta bite like no other.
