    Unhappy drip rails/ rockers

how important are drip rails that are secured by the rocker assembly? i also have something going on under the valve cover... the same valves are eating my rockers meaning wearing them down to the point to they float.. they are also bending my push rods... would that be a bent valve??

The drip rails on FE's were designed to help drain the oil back from around the springs, etc......Good plan, but they never did work very well...
