does anyone know, are the center carrier bearing caps that hold the adjuster nuts, interchangeable if one is damaged, or are they align bored for the threads like crankshaft bearing journals are???

there line bored so the center line of case to cap could be + or- from case to case have to check with bore gauge if size is good then one from another case may workLast edited by pat mccarthy; 09-25-2009 at 09:42 PM.

what are you describing as damaged???? Because----if you have another case to use a cap from, why not just use that case?????

I bought this case with a 3:70 & a posi, then noticed one cap looked foreign, so I would have to sacrifice an entire case to make things right,but that is what I will do.thanks.
