    1960 Ford Galaxie trim

Spent the day at Carlisle trying to help my friend locate either aftermarket trim or a company that can redo stainless trim for a 1960 Galaxie 4-door/Mayberry Police cruiser reproduction. We had no luck today nor have we had any luck with either Dennis Carpenter or Dearborn Classics. If anyone has any leads for us, we would so very much appreciate it. Dave "Mr. Ford" Severson....any ideas??

Have you checked with the guys at the Ford Galaxie Club of America? I used to have a 64 Galaxie and those guys were knowledgeable and helpful. You should be able to find them via google. Also if you regularly search craigslist for your area & surrounding areas, sometimes you can find good used stuff.
Hope that helps a little. If not, someone else may come along with a better idea.

    Good luck.

How bad is the original trim??? With a lot of patience, a small pick hammer and dollie the damaged and dented stainless can be repaired...then buffed.

Maybe get a list together of what pieces you need, can check around with some Ford guys out my way...we've got a few get-togethers scheduled for this fall????

As Randy mentioned, Craigslist is sometimes a good source....Maybe even put a parts wanted ad on there??? You'll get a lot of nutso replies but maybe one will come through with the stuff you need!!!
