Well mines not quite that bad, but it still looks like a bomb went off in it.
I'm doing some tempory work on the local Fort (one of the reasons I haven't been posting too much lately), plus all the parts finally came in to finish up my 77 Mustang. With any luck I should have the car running later this week and then the 2 day job of cleaning the shop before I can really start enjoying driving it.

yeah it is saved it from high school kids and drag race distruction, It was the last year for carb first year for the roller cam, last year of the 7.5 posi rear. I wish it had the t tops too but I had an 86 gt with them and in Illinois they rust in the roof so bad that I scrapped the car out when the windshield and pilars started to pull away and moved on to this one. Wish I could find my 85 under all of the stuff in the garage so I could put the rebuilt motor back in it and be able to get it out in the spring.like a volvo with gun racks.....

Luck be with me
Sadly, my garage is tidy.
I cant paint.....no compressor and paint stuff.
Cant weld.......no bottles or old steel.
Never fabricated anything....no big cutters or folders.
A few sets of tools and an engine hoist is all the gear. And a plastic crate with a few parts mostly hoses and about 6 wheels and tyres.
So...if you have a mess, it probably means you are better equipped at fixin', building or modifiying anything a lot better than i'll ever be. The endless pleading with ones self about enroling in some night classes to learn which is the wet end and the hot end of a paint gun or a welder go back years.
I will do it.
Have pride in ones mess.

Don't get me wrong idiot, it is not as if I am superstitious, I am not an idiot, I know better, you are the idiot and I do not want to take that title away from you. But what is with the part appearing after you give up looking?
And HEY, idiot, the thing doesn't stop there. The damn thing follows me into the kitchen, idiot! I go to the fridge........... don't laugh, idiot, I know you are with me on this. I kid you not! I am scared to death of asking my wife for the thing which is right in front of my nose. I do not want to look like YOU.
You know what happens to a guy after a while of being called an idiot once to often...>>> you start believing it, you internalize it! You actually think it is within your name!!! It is as if it is your calling, your character!
Anyways, I go to the fridge, idiot, I open the door, and all I need is ketchup. I have the potato fries in one hand, and the door in the other. The light is on, but it is as if nobody is home. My wife is watching TV in the other room and she can not see me. I have been here many times before. I look in the door, then glance on the shelves of the fridge, and sure enough the damn thing is gone!
I consider for a moment of calling out to my wife, but my former confrontations have taught me to shut up. I have been called an idiot once to often and this is the time, yes this is the day that things will turn around for me. I will conquer.
Just then she appears around the corner. I am devastated! She asks me, “what are you looking for dear”? I reply, “nothing sweetie, I was just taking inventory”!
She pours herself a glass of water and heads back to the other room. The fridge door is now closed. I decide that it is safe and I open the door to the fridge once again, she hears the door opening and says, “can I help you with anything”? I bravely say, “Nope, just looking”.
Now I proceed to hold the plate of fries next to the shelves, nothing, I hold it next to the shelves in the door, nothing. I give up. I close the door and I place the plate on the counter next to me and guess what I see. What is with that, idiot?Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.

I have a 15x30 garage attached to the house. Out back I have a 16x30 and a 16x40 Garage joined by a 22x26 machine shop. All three are cluttered with tools, parts and cars. I can search each garage twice sometimes and still not find what I'm looking for. What I do find is what I was looking for the last time. Maybe that's why I'm always behind schedule with all my projects.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
