Got recomendations on full width wide white walls?

    Howdy!

I want to go to full width wide white walls when its time to replace my tires, I've mocked it up, and my wagon looks totally classy! I want 205/75R15's, and I am wondering what you guys recomend, in ways of quality, longevity, and price. Stupid teenager buget, other wise it might be cokers!

    Thanks!

Stupid teenager budget requires ingenuity to overcome. Do you present tires have whitewalls or white lettering? If so, you can sand that thin layer of black off and you will find any width whitewall you want underneath. Bear in mind though, that layer of white isn't very thick either.

I have narrow white walls on it now, the really common stuff. I got a almost new spare I'll test it on, I want it to stay in the trunk, so its not a problem if I screw it up too much cosmetic wise. Thanks for the tip!

If you decide to buy new ones, I recommend Diamond Back Tires. www.dbtires.com They vulcanize whitewalls on to modern tires so you have the best of both worlds. Coker is a good company, with great service, but I have had problems with their whitewalls cracking. I'm on a second replacement set and they are cracked too. I maintain them according to their instructions.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Like was said before you can make your own WWW with a regular white letter or white wall by grinding or sanding the side walls. Use a sanding disk on a grinder and go slow and carefull you can go through the white layer. It's easier to leave it on the car or have a way to slowly rotate it as you sand. You won't have a full white wall but they won't cost much.

    Here's some videos.

Probably doesn't go all the way. And every brand of white wall is a little different. But like I said the price can't be bet until you can afford the real ones. I happen to have a set of Cokers on on of my cars I found used with lots of tread left for $500 with the wheels.
