How high compression for blower
My buddy has a 37 ford slant back with a 454 built engine. He's running 9.5:1 compression and wants to add a Weiand 6-71 blower. I told him he's running to much compression. I think the highest he could go is around 8.75:1. Maybe thats even too much. Since I've never had a blower on any of my engines, I just wanted to find out if 9.5:1 will scatter everything if it hickups.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
