    shifter size?

does anyone know the size or diameter or thread size of the top of an '03 Dodge truck 5spd shifter?

a buddy is looking to put a unique handle on it.

I know nothing about Dodges or even if it just screws off or not but I told him I'd ask around

    Thanks

Usually a shifter has a fine thread like 3/8x24...but today you never know, could be a metric thread. Best advice is to take off old handle, get some nuts that are 3/8x24 and try to thread one on. If it doesnt fit, try some metric nuts close to that size.

Pick up a thread pitch gauge at your local speed shop and measure the threads.
