    Question Emergency Brakes

My 46 chevy truck has an 1998 S10 rear end under it. In that I mean the third member/shock mount/drop link assembly was cut out of an S10 Blazer and mounted to the original frame and springs. With this came the S10 brakes(disc) and EB cables which are not hooked up. I have a Lokar shifter and have seen in some of the posts an EB handle that mounts to the passenger side of the shifter bracket. Is that a good way to go?
