    A/C Problem

If you move switch on the dash to heat the heat comes on,
but if you move the switch back to A/C it won't work.
So you have to reach under the dash and pull the rod
on the diaphram or accuator on the left then the A/C
will work again. Would this be a bad diapham or would
the contrller or the head be bad.
I am no A/C tec by far so I am guessing here.
This is on a old 83 Dodge pick up.
    Thanks for any help.
    Kurt

check your vacuum supply to the control head, then pull check with a vacuum gauge to see if vacuum is going to the actuator when it is commanded to
