Looked at a pile of stuff today

Short version of the story, my brother is trying to sell his house. A prospective buyer comes for a look and mentions he inherited a bunch of OE parts from his dad that he needs to get rid of in St. Louis Mo. My brother is strictly in to Mopars and this guy has mostly Ford and Buick items.

It fills up the middle of a one car garage. There's a lot of OE rebuilt stuff such as CAPAC? rebuilt fuel pumps, bearings, seals, gasket sets, etc. that I want to say is mostly flathead and Y-block era parts. A lot of it is in the original boxes. Parts I could identify easily were a NOS looking '40 Ford hood, a 50/51'ish exterior windshield sun visor, and what looked to be a '36 Ford dash. There was a box of 30's-50's tail light lenses, a bunch of chrome headlight buckets off of who knows what, and a bunch of assorted trim pieces.

He is wanting to sell it all because he really doesn't have the space to keep storing it. He has a few early Mustang parts I would probably be interested in, but the rest I have no use for. I'm going to go back over next Wednesday and spend some more time digging through the pile to figure out what all is there.

Sounds like perfect Ebay fodder. Not only can you probably turn a nice profit, you will benefit a lot of car nuts who are looking for some of that stuff. Every once in a while I thin out my stash while shaking loose some $ for my current project. It's a little bit of work, researching your parts, listing them, then shipping, but it can be pretty lucrative.

Yeah, except I really don't have the time to run an ebay business on the side. I suggested to him that he should register here as a member and start listing what he has for sale so all of you car afficianado's can get first dibs on what he has.
