mystery motor
ok first off good day gentelmen!
so i have a 383 stroker i took out of a c10 it has 340292 heads ported and polished" i know this because the guy who did it stamped his name and id number on the head and i called " oh his name is wes king from lodi ca, he has big 05 valves he has full roller rockers we know its a 383 do to machine work to the block, i cant find the guy who built the motor, so i cant find out what the cr is, we stuck a bore scope in number 1 at tdc and the piston is above the gasket slightly. the piston is a flat top with 4 valve releifs " sorry cant spell" and a hole in the middle that looks like a cone" tappers down" it had a 292h cam and a matched to the head victor jr intake. ok so i was thinking of going back with a rpm performer intake with 1" spacer and a lunati bracket master cam, i want to be in the 2000 6000 rpm range is this a good match?
