    Wheel Removal Question

Well I uess this is the perfect "newbie" question so laugh at will. My question is this though. On my 57 Fairlane, the rear panel tucks about 1/3 of the rim. My grandfather had the wheels on, before he ever put the body back on. Well the tires need replaned, and even considered getting some new rims for it. However, I cant get that rear wheel off or anything. I've jacked up the frame, but the wheel is to wide to clear the fender and rke drum at the same time. All I can think of, is to unbolt the back of the leafs in the back, and tipping them down for more clearnece. But Im sure that I'm missing the smpl thing here. So if anyone can give me a lil advice as to getting the rear wheels off, I would TRUELY appreciate it.

    Thank you for your time,
    mark

Just take the shocks loose from the axle's then jack the frame up , & then go find the right shocks for it...
