v6 to v8 conversion on a 95 camaro
Can anyone give me any info on a v6 to 350 v8 conversion in a 95 Camaro? Or is it more trouble than its worth? I know I would probably have to upgrade the suspension as well. The 350 Im building should have around 400 HP. Im concerned about gauges and electronics being affected because i want it to look decent as well!

It's more trouble than its worth. 93-97 LT1 V8 camaros go for $1-4k easy. Sell the V6, add a grand or two (the swap fund money) and find a V8 car that will be easier to resell later on down the road. What is the 350 you are building from? Is it fuel injected? I would save that engine for an older project car that could end up being worth MORE than you have in it and buy the Z28 for a decent daily with power. A stock LT1 camaro gets 17/25mpg..can't beat that.Last edited by 35fordcoupe; 07-13-2010 at 01:23 PM.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
