    Remote clutch reservoir?

Where can I find one that looks a little nicer than the white plastic one Wilwood sent me with my pedal assembly? I have looked through all my catelogs and online and really the only one I can find is from kugal komponents in street rodder for over $100 and they have a threaded barb on the bottom so then I need hose and fittings. I just want a decent looking one that I can attach a rubber hose to the bottom of. Any ideas on where to find one?

Also where can I find vacuum rated hose to run from the intake manifold down to the booster...about 4'? Thanks

This one's a little cheaper, but looks it: http://www.streetrodstuff.com/Products/76/

Then there's also black plastic paint to make the white disappear.

I ran hard line on mine & used about 3-4 inches of hose on each end for the connection to the vacuum line & booster...joe

Bob- that one looks ok to me, but it is also set up for a stainless line and I don't care to go to that expense. I did think about black paint and might just do it at least for now, but this is really the only thing on my firewall so I was hoping for something decent looking. I am surprised there are not more options. I guess everyone just has automatics or cable clutches and a brake master cylinder on the firewall or access door in the floor.

toomany- I was thinking about something like that. I have a foot or so section of hose I could just cut up for the ends. Could I just use flared 3/8" hard line from the auto parts store like I ran for the fuel and brakes then connect the hose to a 3/8" npt to 3/8" barb or will the flare restrict too much?

    thanks guys

All I did was cut the fitting off the hard line(whatever the inside diameter of the hose you're using is), used no flare, slid the hose on and put a hose clamp on for just good measure. It's not like the hose is going to be sucked off the hard line. But you have to remember from the factory those hose clamps were cheap ass spring clips, which I hated....joe

Wow I definately over thought that one cutting the ends off sounds good to me. Should 3/8" be good for such a distance?

    Good question.............
Mine is either 3/8 or 1/2...
I just took the hose off the booster & told parts guy that I needed a stick of steel line that would fit the inside of the hose. Bent it & hooked it up.

The stock hose I have from this engine is 3/8", but I wasn't sure how the increased distance would affect the vacuum and thought I might need a larger diameter to off set it. I can only bend up to 3/8" though so I'll just try that. Thanks again.

ok so the booster hose that was used on the engine originally is larger than 3/8". It must be 1/2" and the brake lines at the auto parts store only go up to 3/8". Could I use 1/2" conduit? maybe if I look harder I can find 1/2" lines at the auto parts store? any other ideas?
