Pull it apart, clean all with Lac thinner.
Then reassemble and run a cup full of lac thinner thru it, and yer good to go.
When I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

I still like taking a new gun apart to get the worst of the crud out - I at least pull the needle as well as the tip assembly and wash them separately, THEN I run a cup of automotive lacquer thinner through it (not that crap from the big box stores which has water and oils in it)
