    Wink testing a flame job

I found these pictures recently that I took a couple years ago when I was putting the Bronco rear end in my pickup. I thoght it was a great choice because all four wheels would have the same bolt pattern.... Then I put in the Fiero front end and screwed up that plan.
But that's not why I started this thread. I wanted to show you how easy it is to lay out flames on a black primered car (or truck). It's as easy as drawing on a blackboard with a piece of chalk. I borrowed my grand daughter's pink sidewalk chalk. You can remove mistakes with a damp cloth. when you get something you like you can take a picture to refer to when it's time to paint. If you drive a suede car you can have a different flame job for each cruise. (If it don't rain)
The 47 Case tractor in the background is handy for lifting bodies on or off the frame.

I'm not sure if I want it the original orange color or if I should do it flat black with red wheels and wide whites.
I rebuilt the valvetrain and now my magneto quit working. The tractor dealer where I was getting my parts burned down so I need another source for parts. I have the owners manual and it tells you how to repair any part of the tractor in great detail. When I found the chapter on the magneto it said dont take it apart. It can only be repaired by an authorized dealer. Case tractors was bought out by International and they don't repair them anymore. Am I screwed or what?

Thanks Streets. lots of good links. That should keep me busy for a while.
pro70z28. I'll check my archives to see if I have that issue.

66Toro, A crayon flame job would be more colorful. Don't leave your crayons on the dashboard on a hot day.
