You would normally use a tab for the flexy to bolt to, the flexy would have a bulkhead fitting with a nut that fits in the tab or you could use thru the frame fittings.

I used a 1978 Elcamino rear hose. Made a L bracket to bolt it to the rear cover, then ran my lines. Was real simple. Block was threaded 3/8-24 IFF and top of hose needed an adapter ( 7/16-24 IFM to 3/8-24 IFF, speedway part # 910-3183 ) as seen in picture. All my hard lines are 3/8-24 lines. The chrome bracket at the top of the hose is pop riveted to the bar, it is speedway part # 910-31309. The L bracket is what is left of a strap off a Universal exhaust hanger.

Its a 9" jones. Yep, I know the feeling...when I was doing my rear brake setup, I kept trying to find a brake hose to accomodate my needs. The big problem was nowhere was there specs on factory car hoses. Then one day I was helping my nephew with his Elky, and I looked up and " Hey, thats the hose I need"...rest is history.
