    Question Edelbrock carb ID information

I was looking at an old Edel Carb, a 1405, and wondered what the last 4 digits represent. The numbers were "1405 0175". Can anyone tell me what the 0175 represents? Is it just a serial number? Thanks!

    Found the answer!
0175 indicates the build date on the carb
the 1st digit is the year 0=2000
the last 3 are the day of the year 175 = the 175th day
therefore 0175 means built on the 175th day of 2000.
