    Electrical Gremlins...

Wife's 2008 P T Cruiser has developed some electrical gremlins. First the clock started loosing time. Then the key fob would lock the doors, BUT not Unlock them (New Batteries installed in both remotes), now the radio jumps stations when the car hits a bump. Anyone have any ideas??

If you don't find an answer here, there is an excellent PT Cruiser specific forum that we recently used to find a fix for my ex Wife's Cruiser.

    http://ptcruizer.com/

It seems these cars have some common issues and the people on that forum share some solutions to those problems. As I mentioned in a recent thread on here, we were able to save my Ex $ 350 on the shift linkage repair by using common hardware store items that cost $ 8. Finding that forum was a lifesaver.

While Club Hot Rod is an excellent forum, with lots of helpful people, sometimes you have to go to a forum that is based strictly around one particular vehicle to find an answer. I just recently did the same thing on my Honda daily driver and found some good help on a Honda only forum to help solve some problems I was having.

    Good luck,

    Don
