enclosed drivelind problems
this is my first rat build and i am having trouble getting the tranny disconnected from the enclosed driveline the lower cup that is housing the u joints has no acessability to the bolts that hold it on because the crossmember is so close! any advise?

On an enclosed driveline like the early Fords and some Chevies, you have to loosen and move the rear end back a little to get room to drop the torque tube. I think there is a way around that, but I forget as it has been so many years since I did one.
