This is the cap I'm using (16lbs.)

What temp is your engine running at? Are you getting warmer at lights or going down the road?
Going by the gauge on the dash (old SW Deluxe), she stays around 190* and goes up to 200* on warm days.

On extremely hot days, she'll push 215-220* at lights.

It's roughly the same going by the thermocap.

Oh, and make sure your overflow hose from the radiator goes to the correct fitting on the bottom of the overflow tank. It should go to the lowest one when looking down into the overflow tank. The theory is, the excess coolant rises and eventually will come out the taller tube. If you are hooked up to the wrong one it will spill out much faster onto the ground.
It was the first thing I checked

I'm not overly concerned about it since I check my fluids before every outing and it only happens on extremely hot days

I just don't want it to puke on the ground at shows or the track

The front tank is more for aesthetics than anything since the usual SS bar is kinda boring

If I can get it to catch some puke, then it's a win win for me

Yeah, I cross posted as this forum tends to go down more than a cheap hooker

Great way to lose credibility on any forum where members frequent similar others

I don't have a problem with posting on 1,2 or more forums IF you 1. do NOT get an answer or 2. Get a response that is so far off that it doesn't make sense. As far as going down - yep, a problem here, but most of us live with it and understand the forum owner and the fact that his living is made elsewhere.

And being compared to a cheap hooker - that for sure wont endear you to anyone here or elsewhere.

Do what you like, there are no limits as far as where and what you post.

I meant no disrespect, but if this forum was actually working when I tried to log on yesterday, I probably wouldn't have posted it on the other site

That being said, I don't see the harm in posting questions on multiple sites to get more opinions on the matter at hand

I usually just puke out the door, swing it open and let it go.

    That Puke tank looks huge.

Its like who wants to be a millionaire and you ask the audience, the more responses you get alike the better the odds that's the answer. This is the internet and there's a lot of keyboard mechanics out there and some times if the questioner has limited or mediocre skills. So how do you know who is right?
    Ask the audience

The cheap hooker remark could have been left out though.
