Here's something to make one think. This car just sold for $12k after repeated advertising at a higher price. Now, it is a standard rather than deluxe, but it is a coupe and it's ALL there. Taking the sellers word, it didn't have much rust............and did I mention it's easy to see it's all there? Not exactly apples to apples, but an idea of what a patient and resourceful buyer can find in these times.: http://fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12941Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

yeah thats nice ride for 12 grand. Trust me if i had money to drop like that all at once i for sure would. I know it would save me a lot of time and probably some money to get one like that too. I dont mind working on a project though. the one i looked at does have solid running boards that are not pictured. It is missing motor and tranny but does have original rear and drive shaft, which i want need. I do appreciate the imput so you guys can keep it coming. I am not gone get my feelings hurt if its bashed lol

Bob
I dont know how i missed this the first time. I was just looking over the post and saw it. I actually have a guy in town that all he does is work on older cars. He would be the one to fix the cancer by the drip rails. I knew the wheels were not original. The front wheels seemed a little wide to me also. I am not sure if its a different front axle or not but i will probably buy a Bolt On IFS kit. I want to keep some original aspect to it but i do not plan to build back original

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
