Jerry,
I really appreciate your comment. Last night I measured a bunch, made a pattern of the pedal arc and determined the added 2.5" of travel needed at the top. Looking at it, the way the pedal assembly (which came as an assembled master cylinder bracket/pedal assembly from Pete & Jake's) is mounted there's three full inches of pedal arm (the arched part) outside the body, so adding 2.5" is not a bad approach - it is still shorter than Henry designed for foot travel, and I know another guy that used the approach on his car, too and it works just fine. I thought that I could notch the floor, but it hits too far up on the pedal, so extending the arc is the only thing that works. Thanks for questioning my idea - it is good to think through it again!!Last edited by rspears; 10-07-2010 at 05:42 AM. Reason: Another look....

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
Saw this posted on FB, and thought of posting it on the Joke Page as a Model A Donk, but then thought it's not a joke, it's cool!! -
