    Model A body mounts

     



    Any body use rubber biscuit body mounts on there Model A frame as apposed to the roll of frame welting?

    Yep, I am using large round rubber fender washers on the A frame under my 27 body. Ace Hardware carries them. Used them on a few cars.

    There shouldn't be a problem - but why? If it's a full fendered 'A' you will still need welting under the splash shields and fenders to prevent squeaks, rubbing and rattles. It's cheap enough even for the self stick stuff.

    You got metal fender washers at Ace?, what about the rubber mounts? or are you saying you got the rubber mounts from Ace?

    They have rubber washers in lots of diameters and hole sizes.
