Don't know if he sold the molds or not.
But just havin the molds doesn't mean that the next guy will build the same quality body.
    Too many varibles to duplicate.
I.E : Resin quality, content and application.
Make sure yer buyin an Ida body, not just 1 that someone says it is !!!!!!!!!

If I was going to build a Willy's, I would seriously look at Outlaw's body. Outlaw builds very good bodies and stands behind their stuff.

My 41 Willys is from Antique and Collectable.

Can't say enough about them. Delivered right to the day promised almost to the hour.

Very solid construction. No mold lines anywhere. I actually drove it for the first year in black gel coat. Many thought it was black paint. One of the few that are "heat treated" before you get them. No need to allow the car to "sit in the sun a few days".

12,000 miles this year. Rain, shine, and snow and cold. Drove it a week ago 15 deg F.

Much less expensive than Outlaw and better quality in my opinion.

Having just spent 2 years getting my mould correct i can say there is a lot of Willys bodies out there that are not correct.
