Helping to build a SEMA car
I had the day off on Monday as New Years day was on Sat. I called up my friend Jon Kosmoski and thought I'd hang out at his shop a bit.
He knows I know my electrical stuff and I've solved several of his electrical problems in the past. Monday was no difference as he had a bug in his 34 Roadster that he built for the 2010 Sema show. The problem turned out to be a feedback issue from the LED bulbs that he was using in his turn signals. There was a couple of fixes that I suggested but he was just happy going back to incandesent bulbs.
Jon is currently building a 1934 4 door which is the first one that he decided to do since the one that I have. This is about 15 years ago. He was showing me some of the details that he is working into the car and telling me about the color scheme (Purple). He then turns to me and said that he wants me to wire the car for him. Wiring just isn't his thing and since I fix some of the problems with the other cars that he has built, I might as well do this one. YEOW. Sure I would! I've got the experience and know how to get it done right the first time... so why not. We also talked about going to SEMA together to show it later this year. It has always been something that I wanted to do also.
So my Monday... turned out to be a GREAT day.

Jerome, that's really cool to apply your expertise and then get to tag along to SEMA with it. Fantastic start to 2011!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
